Yeon-mi Park is a famous North Korean Human rights activist, defector, and Author of “Order to Live, A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom,” She was born on 4 October 1993 in Hyesan, Ryanggang, North Korea. She lives in Chicago, Illinois. She is 28 years old (as of 2022). She grew up with her elder sister named Eun-mi. Because food is available when Park had been a child, she ate grasshoppers and dragonflies and gained around 50 and 60 pounds (22 to 27 kilograms), according to her, She did that if the only option she could stay alive was to flee. A large part of North Korea had been without electricity, and Park’s only source of sustenance was “watching the electricity coming from China during the night.”

Park spent two years as a sex trafficker before being freed by South Korean Christians who wanted to bring the Holy book to North Korea.
